We are delighted to announce that Kilmore Quay Conservation Group has been awarded a Community Heritage Grant from The Heritage Council to establish the first comprehensive ecological baseline dataset for the Ballyteige buffer zone.🌿 🐾 The study will improve our understanding of its role as a wildlife movement route and ecological buffer adjacent to the Ballyteige Burrow SAC/SPA and within a proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA).

We sincerely thank The Heritage Council for its support of the Kilmore Quay community through the Community Heritage Grant Programme, enabling this important ecological research project to take place.
